About me

I’m currently based in both Wiltshire and Dublin. In Dublin I am studying for my PhD at Trinity College where I am looking at sea level changes using foraminifera as proxies. Head here for more info.

Alongside my research I juggle my habit of, or addiction to, photography. Please head over to my portfolio site to see some of my recent work.

I am a pretty much all-round music fan and try to get along to as many gigs and concerts as my student stipend allows! I am currently the official photographer for BBC Radio 2’s new live music initiative, In Concert, which has so far seen live concerts performed by Keane and Crowded House with further exciting events on the radar. I have also covered studio events and festivals for the BBC and, during my time at Trinity College, was involved with the student-created music magazine Analogue.

I am always on the look-out for new photographic challenges and have recently ventured into the realm of wedding photography. I am always trying to extend my photographic education and have hence set myself the challenge of photoblogging every day! Its going well so far but comments and feedback are greatly appreciated - after all, how can I continue to learn if I don’t receive any criticism?!
