Japfest @ Mondello Park
I can’t believe its been more than a month since I last updated. The past month has flown by which isn’t exactly great news!
As is to be expected, my PhD has taken over and, even though I have managed to get out with the camera once or twice, I am finding no time (or energy) to get anything up on the blog.
But lets remedy that right now. Way back at the beginning of September, I was lucky enough to be invited along to Japfest at Mondello Park with a handful of other photographers to take part in a photowalk organised by the wonderful John Fair.

I have to admit that cars really aren’t a huge passion of mine, but from a photographic perspective, I do enjoy grabbing the odd shot. But it was because of this that I was excited to be invited along - it gave me an opportunity to take new and different types of photos.

Despite the weather, everyone seemed to have a fantastic time and we were all made to feel very welcome by the guys at Mondello Park. A lucky few are back there again today taking photos of motorbikes and I can’t wait to see what they come up with. In the meantime, a collection of the photos from Japfest can be seen over on Pixie.
